My Dingo.. Military style Hey Guys, New member on the forum but long time reader.. Been in and out of RC for over 20 years.. going to more scale projects now. I recently put together my new rig.. this is my second scx10 , first was a stock rtr honcho (sold it) I missed it so i decided to get a dingo kit and go for a military theme. I painted the outside in olive drab and the inside silver and black...so when it gets scuffed it will show the silver underneath. Running gear: Tekin fxr Tekin 55t (sloooow) Mods: Made custom grille and headlighs and various additions to the body. All i want to do now is add a driver. Ok here are some pics of the build. Let me know what you think "thumbsup" Thanks! Also go here guess the driver.. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/scale...ho-driver.html http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psaad7a432.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1360abee.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps69ebb821.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps6603bcce.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps91d25a36.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps25826a01.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psac51283c.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...ps565349c7.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psa9a54c60.jpg http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psa4ae31ff.jpg |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Looks great in olive drab. My two Dingos are painted. I just might have to pick up a 3rd one. "thumbsup" |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Thanks. I like the way it turned out....not the biggest fan of the dingo body. I'm happy with it for now. I did spray a bit of flat clear lexan paint on the outside first then followed up with the tamiya olive drab. I know it's not going to hold on forever but I like the used battered look.. |
Good driver selection: "Name's Ash...Housewares." Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using Tapatalk |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Hehe yeah.. "shop smart...shop S-mart" Nah he's not the driver.. still looking for one. I was considering using his chainsaw as a scale item in the truck .. but then he would be defenseless since his shotgun is lost. |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Nice work man! I almost went the same direction with my dingo kit - ended up going the 1.55 route instead with a different body though. I'd like to see a set of these sr03's mounted up on those rips for that badass military blacked-out look "thumbsup" http://www.beadlok.com/v%20products/V-GMA70184-1.jpg |

Id love to see yours.. post up man. |

Re: My Dingo.. Military style I think the dingo body makes for a great military or apocalyptic type theme, I know I was not a big fan of this body....but there is a lot of potential on these.......looks great. Cheers, Wade |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Looking good subtle but effective changes  wheres the boomstick |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style thanks guys. Boomstick was lost a while ago... truck has a new driver now anyway.. http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/...psaf7cb387.jpg |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style Damm, that is such a nice looking Dingo/Rover. Like all of the different wheel combos people posted pics of. "thumbsup" |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style I'm digging that driver. That's the dude from Gears of War, epic game that..."thumbsup" I'm very tempted to spray my dingo on the outside, and especially that color, it came out great... |
Re: My Dingo.. Military style i love what you've done with the wheels! "thumbsup" |
