|  new SCX10 Dodge Power Wagon slipper issues
Has anyone else noticed the new slipper design ?? I was going to change my gears in my new power wagon tonight ( just got delivered today) anyways 87t spur and 20t pinion is the gearing that works best for my setup.. well to my surprise when I took the cover off the transmission the slipper pads are now made on the spur.. and the shaft isnt drilled to allow the old style slipper to be used instead.. it came out of the box with a 56t spur.. anyone have a solution to achieve my 87/20 gearing with this new design since ive got a comp tomorrow morning and clearly my lhs doesn't stock this new spur/slipper combination gearing..

It has the new 32 pitch gears which are stronger than the old 48 pitch gears. Your old ratio was 87/20 48p or 4.35 the new ratio is 56/13 32p or 4.30 So close you shouldn't notice any difference. |
