Cherokee #2 can't get enough

Well started with a cherokee, had a wraith and a rubicon and just cant seem to get away from cherokees. From my 1:1s theres just something about them. Learned many of things and most of the credit goes to you guys on here. So thank you guys. I picked this bad boy up off fb for 240 rtr minus esc, was included just burned up. Cherokee body, stock motor, stock servo, stock wheels n tires. Rusty crusty and had a set of way to still tires n sawback wheels.






Took it out, got some new ideas chopped the rubicon body up it was trashed anyway and shoved it inside the cherokee. Also picked up a savox wp servo, sidewinder esc, alum servo horn, twin hammer wheels, pitbull growlers won at a g6 event, alum steering, knuckles and chubs. This is where its at now. ..

Got some new things on the way some not pictured, new body too (cherokee) I know its a little beat up.





Love some feedback from you guys, this hobby has certainly taken over my fun money and then some lol but I enjoy it.

Beef tubes installed for some reason I thought the housings didnt have to be trimmed inside but they do and it turned out excellent, being able to screw the c-hub screws down an feel it bite into something else is awesome def glad I picked them up should help with keeping cog down lower too.

Nice score. But looks like the wheelbase is a little long for the xj body. Shorter rear links should center the tires under the wheel wells

I know, I was hoping no one would see it. I noticed that when I got it, to be honest just been to lazy to fix it even tho its easy haha. I will be doing that when I swap out the shattered bearing in the rear axle

Fixed the wheel base now I just need that new body, floor pan and interior. No more cut up body and now centered rear axle in the wheel well.

They are awesome takes a little trimming but with a dremel it was cake. Super fast shipping as well, ordered Friday got them on Monday. Cant complain at all.

Ran out for a little. Got all but new body interior and floor pan in. So thats it until the trail run this sunday. Thought my winch would mount to the bumper but it dont so I might switch winches and get a servo winch with bulldog as dummy. Nice and stout all around now. Gonna order some sliders tomorrow and scale hubs.

Thinking maybe switching it up and getting a commanche body any one else have one ans like it? I would like a truck bed for a change and have some scale stuff.

Took apart my rear axle and found what was left of a bearing lol cleaned up and marined greased it all back together now didnt get a pic but it bascially exploded. Ill post pics of the trail run tomorrow.

Couple more, all in all the tires grip wet slippery rock very well, beef tubes, weighted front wheels, alum wheels and battery moved up front all help it keeping the front end down and alot more traction. Front bumper needs to be a tap bit higher and need to put two more screws in the rear bumper to keep front tilting when hit. Not to bad for a test run!

Nice rig! I like the wheels. They look like stock 1:1 jeep wheels.
