need advice, tekin pro4 4600kv in my scx10

i had this combo sitting on the shelf and i've decided to give it a try in my scx10

I have Mip shaft and robinson transmission.

i ordered a 11t pinion and 64t spur (32 pitch of course)

now i can't fit the motor correctly on the motor mount for 2 reasons

1- the motor hits the link mount on the skid, what do you guys do? do you raise the transmission 2-3mm ?
2- it hits the link as i said but to fit he pinion, i would need to to drill the mount to push the motor a bit further. can i do that without having bending issue?

Yup shim the trany and extend the slots on the plate. Done
