Very cool. Might have to get one of those bodys and turn it into a brushless mobile support rig. |

I like the body off picture, simple and clean. I started off with mine like that, have tried a few different electronics locations but will return to the setup you have. Recon looks good, been thinking about one as a support rig. -EDIT- The rims and tires are a nice match to the overall look.

You always find the cleanest way to stuff your electronics in the smallest areas ..... Hows that B1R handling the 55T? Just wondering if one of those would handle a 35T as well in an SCX. Looks fun, something you can bang around with. Nice job. |

| Thanks Chipster. They're neat. Totally different than just about everything out there and a real blast to go on a mission in the woods with. Quote:
Thanks, I honestly spend hours staring at the thing and trying differnt layouts so I can get them clean. Thanks for noticing. Quote:
In a scaler, the B1R is fine with a 3S lipo and 55 turn motor, and I'm not even running an external BEC. HOWEVER!!! I've blown up a few of them before back when I was testing them out for Tekin in the 2.2 crawler. It's not a particularly strong ESC, but for a 1.9 scaler it works awesome. And with a 35 turn you're pretty safe with a 2S lipo, but again, get it bound up big time in rocks and sometimes it'll let out the fun smoke. Slipper clutch might help there. Thanks. Thanks guys.

looks good...I have one of those bodies I acquired in a trade, mines olive drab and a tan tarp..the guy did a pretty good job painting it.. Its kinda weird, it sits so high that it always looks like its gonna tip over when its at an angle.. Quote:
With sooo much room under the cab, I was thinking of strapping my video camera in there for the ride.

That looks great! My recon body has been sitting here for 2 weeks - still waiting for paint. Just not enough time... But I'll get it done next month! ilten |
