| Comanche body rub
ok , just looking at the fit of the comanche body on a mostly stock honcho ,... I have seen pics of this body , even without fender flares where body rub & wheel well fit didnt look like a problem ,...but now that I look at fitting it ,..It looks to me like if I get it low enough to look realistic ,.body rub is going to be a problem , I did do the mod to get the stock bumper up higher & in more ,.. The only way I see this working is if the body posts are raised way up ,..Id rather not have the monster truck look though ,.. I imagine thats why some recut those wells & use the svcrew on flares ,..but Im sure Ive seen it work unmodified ,..I just dont know how its done ? How does everyone else do it ?

Heres how I trimmed my arches. Bigger tyres than a stock honcho and didn't rub. Had it sat as low as possible as well. Build thread: Axial SCX10 Jeep Chero-Manche (comanche starts page 4) |
