question on scx10 front axle

Hi guys. I put the hot racing aluminum knuckle and C hub on my scx10 and now after a couple trail runs the screw comes lose from the C hub. Sometimes the screw will almost come out. Any suggestions?

Maybe you stripped the thread into the axle...you may try with some glue...Or add the beef tubes!

I replaced the screw that came with the C hub. They where not a fine thread if that is what you mean.

How hard do you guys think it would be to make one out if a scrap tube?

...It's not really difficult

If you know the required specifications,
have some experience with tooling
and already have the necessary tools/materials.

^ If you're not confident in your ability
or lack the proper tools...

then IMO yer better off buying them already made.

Accuracy will be critical to insure that the grub screw's
drilled/threaded holes line up properly.

I own all the proper tools...
and still chose to buy rather then fabricate my own.
