Default Scx10 transmission question

Hi all. Does anyone know if the 1 speed transmission in the scx10 is geared high/low or is it just "whats put in comes out"

Im thinking of modding the 2 speed gearbox from my twin hammers to fit the scx10 (i only use high gear) and putting my scx10 transmission in the hammers.

Thanks guys!

The stock transmission is a 2.60:1 ratio, standard for the SCX10 and Wraith variants.

Yeah i just found that also.
This is the twin hammers

Internal Gear Ratio - Low: 4.05:1* High: 2.27:1

I dont really know what it all means.. so will the scx10 transmission be slower or faster then the TH high gear??

Im "thinking" it will be slower but not heaps slower which i could fix with a larger pinion.

Faster than the low gear, slower than the high. Higher number=lower gear= slower speed. Lower number=higher gear= faster.

The SCX10 transmission will be a little slower than high gear in the 2-speed, assuming you're using the same spur and pinion gears on both.
