Just about finished the new body for my girls SCX; Her choice of color. Also relocated the battery to the front.

Took the truck out for a test drive. The new body works well and doesn't feel too top heavy.

Added some lights to the stock bumper up front, added the light kit and mounted the brake lights in the rear until I can find a rear bumper I like. Still need a five sting for the light bar up top.
Also tinted the windows, or it said it was tint, but turned out a lot darker than expected.

A lot of people think those bodies are top heavy...there's no weight up there! Just don't fill the top up with a rack and scale accessories...Ive never had a problem with mine....looking good!

Finished painting the rims to match the body, and added lights to the front bumper. Now just need to make a spare tire carrier and we'll be all set

It's fastcolor I believe. It's really a hot pink cor, I just backed it with black to give it a darker tint. The color was my girlfriends choice

Started painting the unlimited body for my sxc. Shot the rear and fenders black, will finish the body in silver

Also finished the 4 link set up I made for it. Originally had a 3 link with panhard up front, but I couldn't get it to flex correctly, so I ditched it for a full 4 link

Finished the paint, added a light kit ad my winch came in. The only problems, something was obviously on the plastic when I shot the paint, and I was using a spray can because I couldn't find r he color I wanted for my airbrush. The other issue, the controller for the winch stopped working the second day time I tried it. Wasn't even pulling the truck just trying to test out the winch

So the truck a bit of a beating at the trail run I went to out at White Rock last month, but it did prove how tough the truck is. I did see so.e weak points that I wanted to address, so I moved the battery to the center

Added a set of Jun Fac side bars and a light bar up top for night runs

Also added a spare tire for the rear just for the looks, and a little weight to balance out the truck.

So far it's been a great build and an even tougher truck on the trails
