What interior options are out there for the scx 2? The proline interior is too short for my liking. ........so let's see what's out there. Thanks |

I've been seeing several RR10 interiors cut to fit. I did see 1 Axial Wrangler 4 door interior cut to fit that came out really well.

Think I saw somewhere that the universal dinky interior could be made to fit by splicing 2 together.

I used the proline interior and fabbed a longer cargo area. It turned out nice. I will post pics later.

Universal dinky interior? What's that? Will the Axial Wrangler Unlimited cage fit inside Proline's Jeep body? |

I used the dinky interior it does not fit well. You have to cut where the spur cover is, also the seats sit really high into the dash not the best option. I saw someone on Facebook do the pro-line interior, I assumed it wouldn't be wide or long enough. I would like to see a pic of the pro-line mocked up from the bottom of the body.

The proline body is definitely not quite wide enough. There is about a 1/4 inch gap on each side. That being said, you can't really tell. It's a totally believable interior. I did have to trim some of the interior near the back seat, but it wasn't much. Then I fabbed a longer cargo area with scale diamond plate and even put a sub and amp in there. Once I get my inner fenders done I will be really happy with it. Sorry I don't have more pics, this was one I sent to a buddy of mine: |

https://www.prolineracing.com/bodies...on-clear-body/ I'm looking for inner cages that will fit inside that body. Someone in a different thread said that Axial Wrangler Unlimited cage isn't going to work with that. | |

I went with the PL-5 proline interior.... Fit was.... so so at best. It's not a perfect fit. But it sure beats having nothing at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Has anyone ever seen or used the rally interior from Tamiya? Tamiya America Item #54491 | RC Rally Car Cockpit Set I have no clue on dimensions (interested in that), but think it might look ok for a jeepspeed build if you only use the front half of it, and it looks sort of decent when painted (not my image). I looked at one at my LHS.... And compared it to the proline PL-C. It looked to be quite narrower then the PLC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

While I dont have a build thread since I ended up getting an RTR, I just thought of sharing this simple interior build that I made today as an experiment. Its made out of sintra and if good enough, I could possibly explore of having it done in thin fiberglass. I also happen to have a Traxxas Summit body roll bars and thought if it could be integrated somewhat. Too small for the exterior, but probably modding the braces to make it longer will fit. I tried it on the inside and it fits better - so hopefully this might help you think of ideas that would help in your builds |
