Default Interior questions, RTR version

So I have read many posts on interiors and have some questions with a RTR version.

Besides building my own, still thinking on doing that, which is the best fit for a RTR version? The Dinky or the Proline lexan piece? I am running a Hard body as well which is a little narrower then the lexan body that came with it.

If I use the proline, should I paint the "outside" of it to get the correct sheen?

I have modified just about everything. Servo, axles, shocks, shock loops, BEC, bumpers, wheels, roof rack, sliders, brass Brake rotors, All the suspension and steering rods; so I don't want to "skimp" on the interior with in reason.

Thanks for the advice.

The RTR uses the same trans as the OG SCX10. I have the same thing in mine (Hilux) and with some trimming you can use a Dinky interior. You will have to remove part of the stock battery tray to make it work. I can post up pics later showing how it works and hopefully how much I had to trim on the interior to make it fit.
