Default Double Rear Axle Bearings

So I discovered this while building my SCX10 II kit that without a second bearing in the axle and only a bearing in the lockout, the rear axle has a lot of play in and out and could cause the hex to grind on the face of the lockout.

Being that I always get extra bearings for vehicles, I went ahead and put a bearing at the end of the axle and also in the lockout. Now there is no play and I figure the extra bearing can't hurt anything. Has anyone else done this? I think this was also something you could do with the AX10 axles.

One of the first things I did when I built mine. More bearings = more better!

The more load bearing points you have along a shaft will help support the total load applied to the shaft.
This allows the shaft to run truer when shock loaded and return to its rotational centerline.

Depending on your lockouts and axle shafts you could do this with the original scx10 axles. I had extra bearings in mine with RCP lockouts and ss shafts.
