|  Scx10 verses scx10 II
I've been out for some time now and don't know much about the new stuff that's out. I'm buying my son a crawler for his bday and I'm wondering what's the difference between the original and the II and if it's worth the extra money? Thanks

Yes the Scx10II is worth the extra money. I have both and even with dogbones in the new Honcho, it out turns, out climbs and is more stable than the Og. To be fair my og has ud gears in the rear and cvd's up front and as soon as I get the new body painted, will be doing a comparison between the two with the same falken tires on both. The diff size is a huge difference to, giving about 1/2" extra clearence all other things being equal. New Honcho $329 Old Deadbolt $299 If you can find one now...  VS. You can get an OG SCX10 to work about as well as a stock SCX10 II, especially if you are careful with picking your driving lines, but why start with the old? Get the SCX10 II IMO.
