New Axial - Wraith This has popped up on a local forum. Does any one know anything about it. If this has been raised already please delete this thread. http://www.crawlanz.com/download/file.php?id=3836 |
I'm guessing it's pretty new because there would be more talk about it if it wasn't because that it sweet looking:shock: it shows a amazing interior, wonder how the fit the tranny and all that in it. got any more pics? |
Sorry, This is all I was shown on the local forum. It does look cool though. |
got a link to the post... that is bad a$$ |
That is sweet looking. Is the thought that they may begin to offer a tuber. I would be interested in one. |
Looks like its based off of King Bling's Knight Stalker buggy. Fawking sweet! |
This is all that was posted. Quote:
I have no idea where he got the picture from, I have asked for more information. But have been given none. When there was all of the speculation around the xr10 and what axial was going to release. The was a lot of people suggesting that they would like to see axial release a K.O.H. truck perhaps this is what they have come up with. If it is a new rig from axial lets hope that they do not drag this out like they did the XR10 release. |
At first glance, I thought it was just a custom piece to showcase their new tires. Looking closer at it, it's a molded, bolt-together structure. Not something that would typically be done as a one-off. Definately a pretty cool looking piece. I hope that they are going to release it. I, personally, probably won't buy it because I do my own tube work, but it would be great for there to be another option for the SCX-10. I'm sure many many many others who can't do their own tubework and/or can't afford to pay somebody else would jump on that. |

If this is a new Axial rig the rims look hot.;-) |
that doesn't look cheap! I love the high clearence arms upper and lower. Looks like Axial doesn't leak info like other companies. |
can anyone say 4x4 and 2x4  (whoops, did i say that outloud) |
that thing looks badass"thumbsup" I can't figure out, but it seems to me it has the xr10 uppers. First i tot it was moa, coz there was no rear shaft, but finally it wasn't. anyway it is sweet :) |
Looks like it is sporting an offset pumpkin axle in the rear possibly. Finally we get some new shafty axles!! Wheels look great and interior looks amazing! |
Where's the countdown:roll: :flipoff::mrgreen: |
Dammit! I said I'd never get another scaler, but if this is going to be a production model, I might have to rethink... The pic looks kinda like it might have been taken at a pit area at KOH. |
DAMN....one more to add to the quiver... |
I was looking into another scaler, this just might be worth the wait, hope more info/pics surface soon, i'm liking what I see so far. thanks for sharing highlucks |
No worries guys, I am sure there will be days and pages of conjecture and speculation before we actually hear some thing from Axial |
Yep, found my next scaler I want! |
COOL! When I first looked at it this morning, i was like "Meh" then i looked again, and again, and thought about paint, winches, yadda yadda. The i started thing about a MM Pro and 4s! I think I may want one now! |

Fixed it for ya Bob |
Pretty sweet if the factory is building this! Wheels do look sweet and new axle housing sounds good"thumbsup" Need more input:twisted: |
Wish there were some pictures at different angles, I don't see an scx style ladder frame under the "tubework". Very cool looking buggy. |
The new ax10 tuber???? it sounded good thou! |
Looks cool, but I see the Honcho factor kicking in quickly w/ this. When there are 10 of them on the rocks, the "uniqueness" quickly fades. That said, some different tires/wheels, custom wraps from Freq-e-Designs, scale drivers/passenger, etc... could be interesting. I see this being used as a basis for some cool new scale builds! |
i knew i shouldnt have bought that dingo! |

There from the 2009 RCX Show |
SOMEBODY on this forum is holding out, thats for sure! With a lightweight cage it should be a pretty capable crawler as well. RAndy |
I'd buy one! |
Yep gonna have to get one of these too....I don't get too worried sooo many of them on the rocks ( like the Honcho ) paint, drivers , rims and tires , accessories will be enough to seperate them appart. could start a new scale class for guys who don't have a ton of cash but still want to. Looking forward to getting mine...except for the part of hideing the money and rig from my wife:roll: |
nice sweet awesome |
I think it looks pretty cool."thumbsup" Hopefully it will come in a kit so we can put it together but even if it came in a TR already built I may still get one. I've been holding out on getting a new Axial kit, this may be the one to get. Very cool Axial! |
