Best thing you can do running plastic driveshafts, is run 2 female shafts. Cut them to allow about 3/8" of slip and join them with a male shaft. Out of all the plastic driveshafts, the male side will always twist when decent power is run. The female side will take 2 and 3 times the abuse before twisting.

Like Reflection said, you may be able to get away with running the stock shafts if you try that method. I ran out of stock parts before I was able to try it.

I don't know what the driveshaft length is off hand but I chose to grab the MIP shafts for a typical AX10 without dig. They worked great. The only thing you should track down is some of the pinned style set screws out of a Traxxas Maxx shaft. You can see a picture of them in my build thread if you don't know what I mean.
