chicklet 08-17-2011 03:00 PM

Little pits? They have been sent to their new home today :( I'm going to build a MOA.

chicklet 08-29-2011 04:15 PM

I haven't updated this thread in awhile...added some Carter Fab & Machine aluminum panels. LOVE EM! Also got a Dinky R/C V2 hood (need to cut it). Gonna leave it flat black. Ignore the front lower link...they are coming off when I get some new ones.

Those panels look tough! The hood should look good on there! "thumbsup"

j-bird 08-30-2011 01:00 AM

im diggin this girl...imo i thought the chrome wheels set it apart from the rest..most everyone is running black or mostly black wheels..btw where did you get those bead rings..and are those dummy screws..all except 6 or 8 that holds it on..i like those and what wheels are they made for..thanks chic"thumbsup"

BrainDead 08-30-2011 04:18 AM

Looks like your going to have to think of another paint scheme. Where are your lower links from?

Thanks j-bird! Yeah the chrome was a little too much bling for me. They are dummy screws except for the 6 that hold the ring onto the wheel. You can buy them from MTHead...he makes the best delrin rings for Axial wheels. I can give you part numbers for the screws.

They are the 101mm 30 degree bent links. I'm going to get some delrin links from Crawler Innovations.

CarterFab 08-30-2011 07:59 AM

Panels look good girl. Glad you like. I will have the other panels available later this week.

chicklet 09-14-2011 10:09 AM

Alrighty guys...finally got my Crawler Innovations delrin links installed. High clearance on top and low clearance lowers with revo rod ends. A few more pics of how she sits currently!

What else do you have planned that we need to wait for? I'd love to see some action shots!

El Rushbo 09-15-2011 01:33 AM

I'm liking it, the aluminum with the black hood and wheels makes it look pretty raw dog. "thumbsup"

Maybe a video in the future. I'm going to add another set of lights to it and I have more aluminum coming from Carter Fab & Machine. "thumbsup"

chicklet 10-10-2011 08:19 AM

Well its about that time, since I didn't get to build this one (from a kit)...I'm going to tear her down. Finally ordered some Axial universals to help the steering angle. The axles and trans will be opened, cleaned and lubed.

Supercomputer5 10-10-2011 04:54 PM

Who has the Axial universals in stock? I haven't found anyone yet.

chicklet 10-10-2011 05:47 PM

RPP has had them twice. I got the last set from the second order. They should have more this Thursday. Keep looking on their site.

Here are some pics from today as she sits...ordered some new style panels and tube work from Carter Fab & Machine!!!

Changed the shocks over to Gmade and added some 2.2 MT Baja Claws. Trimmed the lugs for better traction!

The OG CFM panels...

Thanks guys!

Re: Chicklet's "CHICK" Wraith

Try those claws backwards and they will work even better. Next make the larger lugs into three small ones, then cut the smaller lugs in half. This really makes them work.

It's looking pretty mean! Nice to see this one again. Clay does some nice work!

What size Gmade's are you running and what do you think about the spring rate? I just received a set in 124mm and need to put them together still. Who had the red availible? I really like the Carter Fab panels! Your Wraith is coming together great, keep it up!

chicklet 02-06-2012 10:16 AM

Re: Chicklet's "CHICK" Wraith

They are the 94mm zero shocks and work great. Got them from RC4WD.

Thanks! Its been together since July '11 :ror:, always adding something lol.

Re: Chicklet's "CHICK" Wraith
