Default 3Racing winch, what battery to use

I've got my winch ready to install. Its hooked up to a dynamite mini 2000mah lipo. Its pretty bulky. I was wondering what batteries people have been using or how they have been powering the winch

I used a servo control board from a stripped servo. Just pull it out of the old case, attach leads from the motor to the power wires and plug into reciever. I put a on/off switch on the possitive lead because mine kept creeping. O yeah and a tq3 w/ the 3rd channel moded to three pos. Pretty easy really.

I wouldn't pull that much juice through a RX... just run it with your normal battery. If its permanent for the rig then solder it to your ESC power wires. If not, make an adapter to plug in between your main battery and RX.

I built a Y harness that splits my battery to my ESC and the winch controller. Been working good for almost a year now.
