Here is my build thread. There are sooo many on here already and everyone has an awesome looking rig. I have to admit im stealing ideas from everyone... Started with a rtr Wraith and have been slowly puttin the goods on it and givin it a make over! CURRENT STRC - knuckles, c hubs, upper link mount frt/rr MIP - HD center drive shafts(not on yet) Robinson - Trans gears Novak - 10.5 Ballistic/ Havoc Pro SC(full timing) Proline - TSL G8 or Badlands/Titus bead locks TLR - Shocks Servo - a strong one Vanquish - Steering linkage Driver - Bender Rodriguez Bender and his posse... Gumby ridin dirty Rear link mount STRC STRC/Vanquish front end I have hacked away at the back of the cage a little... I painted the inner wheel orange. Adding the little bit of color helps in the look of the Titus wheel. Cutting out the hood to make room for a cowl. I have seen a few of these tool boxes in other rigs. Im going to jam all my electronics in it. All wiring will be black so it hides a little easier! |

| you will need something to protect those wires coming out of the toolbox. over time it will certainly let the "magic" smoke out of your electronics and they will no longer work. been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt. |

Yeah a little fuel tubing and silicone should do the trick. It is razor sharp right now. | |

Well I ripped the stock center drive shafts in half yesterday! MIP's goin on. Now lets see if I can ruin these diffs. lol Others notes... the TLR shocks with 20 weight oil and 56 pistons up front and 30 weight in the rear with 56 pistons and yellow springs seem to settle the truck down really well. It is very stable at speed and still crawls well. The shocks set the truck about half and inch lower. All of the electronics are up front. I was going to use the "tool box" but i decided to keep the weight up front and use the box for looks only. Im working on a H2 hood for the front. I have it narrowed down and just need to fuse it together somehow. I dont want to use screws... any ideas? |
