Default evx2 wraith?

well i've got my wraith, with stock esc and 35t integy. yes integy, all the LHS had

and an emaxx that is pretty much trashed. trans, diffs, slipper, arms, and shafts trashed, don't ask lol.

any way i was wondering everyones opinion on putting the evx2 and titan 21t in the wraith on 4s. will it have as good slow speed control as stock? i'm sure it would be faster which is what i want, but don't wanna give up a ton on bottom.

i've cearched but haven't seen any evx2 wraiths so any replies or directions to appropriat thread would be great

The braking won't be any good with that ESC. You really need drag brake on a crawler. Get a Mamba Max Pro or BRXL if you want to run higher voltages.

I've got the MMP ESC with the Titan 550 21T. I"ve been running on 3S without problems. Crawls fantastic and is plenty fast. The Titan 21T really is a great motor for the Wraith. I keep debating whether to upgrade but honestly it works perfect for the application.

I'm not really doing any real crawling with it. I use it as a trail truck and the occasional mudder. I plan on getting a BRXL but have the evx2 now.

Gonna give it a shot, will post results in an hour or so.

Trail running is basically crawling to me. No drag brake on a trail truck is terrible in about any situation I can think of. It may be alright if you are new to crawlers and are not used to a nicer setup though.

Im Running the Exact same setup and I love it.. 20/87 gearing, I run it on 3S 3300 mAh Turnigy Nanotek Lipos and its faster than stock, crawls better than stock and the motor is only just warm after a good run. Drag brake is much stronger now too. For a $25 motor its the bomb for my Wraith.

With the gearing I run 20/87 I'm just a bit faster than stock. Maybe 1-2 mph... I could easily gear higher but I love the low speed control more.
My favorite thing is that it does not get frying hot like the stock can.
If we ever get some nice weather I'll take some video.

I don't know how fast stock was since I built mine from the kit version. I'm running 80 /20 gearing and it still crawls really well. On 3S sometimes it's too fast in the trails. In a field it'll chase down my two shelties and catch the smaller one.

This is the funest RC I've had in years.
