Looks great Brandon! All the info I was looking for in one thread. Any thoughts on mirroring an scx10 trans under the interior? Just wondering if it'll still clear. If you had tried it. Thanks again!

Thank you! I have not tried running the trans flipped. There might be some interference with the interior tray.

Mirroring the SCX10 tranny does interfere a little with the interior, the motor causes the driver side of the interior to bow upward a little, which i didn't like but fixed it with a little heat to mold it to the curve of the motor and problem solved no more bowed interior.

Hey now, that's a lot more elegant than chopping a hole in it like I did  But it's for cooling purposes, yeah that's why I did it too!

I am wondering about the Radio Shack Project box. Did you mount it opening up or down? How water tight is it? Can you get a better picture of it?

Neither. I went through some trial and error to get the wheelbase to match the openings on the body.

Keep in mind the SCX10/AX10 axles have the AX80043 4-Link Axle truss installed.

Front Lower links: AXA1427 50mm posts with AX80005 bent ends on one side, and the short bent AX80057 ends on the other.

Front Upper Links: AXA1427 50mm posts with AX80057 short bent ends on both ends.

Rear upper and lower links: AX30714 7x73 Links with the long bent rod ends from AX80057 on each end.

Curious if you've got a pic of how much you trimmed where the tires were rubbing. I've got zero flex when the wheels turned (tires hit the chassis)

What tires are you running? I have 1.9 ripsaws on this build, they are fairly short compared to a lot of the newer scale 1.9's on the market now.

You might have to stretch the front wheelbase a bit to help with clearance then.

Re: Brandon's 1.9 Wraith Build

I'll swap the 1.9 ripsaws over off the XJ first and check it again. Worst case, i stretch the wheelbase. Just hoping to still have it fit a Dingo body
