Default 1.9 TLT'd Wraith

Thought I would share a few pics of my wraith since I have not seen anyone run TLTs under one yet. I wanted to use my wraith axles for another build and I had these axles in a box for a couple years so I figured "what the hell" and threw them on. The shocks are just for mockup, and I also might swap tires down the road. Still trying to get the steering links adjusted to reduce bump steer as well.

Thanks for looking

Thanks

Did a little work last night. Got all the wiring done, and strenthened the back of the chassis with some delrin rod. Just need to find some new shocks and she's about ready for the trails!

I think this thing really needs a off the wall custom body. Or something no one else has used.Because with the lower, narrower stance it's looking like a high end 1:1.

Sweet! Love the scale Wraiths, not so much the Monster truck versions.

I have been brainstorming. So far I have mocked up an HPI bronco body and a Tamiya FJ40, didn't care too much for either. Hopefully something will come along though

Thanks Dez

Next up is trying to find couple 4 link trusses that will look better than what I have on there now. Would love some dinky RC ones but I don't wanna drop 50$ on trusses alone. Also need a set of SCX10 shocks, if anyone is holding an extra set let me know!

Looks good man. 1.9 wraiths seem a little more proportional.

Fabbed up a spare tire carrier today out out of some delrin rod and a piece of aluminum. Pretty easy DIY project Also helps to strengthen the rear end of the chassis.

Also tried out some Rock Lox to see how they looked. Thinking I might stick with them instead of the Baja Claws.

Hmmm not sure. Haven't made much of a plan for the body. I moved the tail lights up into the panels tonight but I'm too lazy to take a picture, footballs on
