cheap Wraith Universals

Just noticed that AsiaTees has the Universals from Axial on Flash Sale. USD 29.90
Thought I post it in case anybody is looking for them.
Personally have good experience with AsiaTees, fast shipping and service.

I heard that their parts are junk. Can anyone confirm the poor quality and tolerances?

Well, I'm only a newbie, so cant judge much in terms of quality of parts.
I'm quite happy with what I ordered so far, everything feels, looks and works nice. Only problem I had was an aluminium universal that came with a set of parts, but learned now that aluminium is not something you want in your axels..
But for these universals, they are Axial original parts, so can't go wrong I guess.

The metal is soft. i had some on my wraith for a while and started getting some slop in the front. Took off the knuckles and the screws had make a much larger hole. Spend the money and get a better quality item. I will never use them again.

I assume that this refers to Axial Universals not being up to your liking..
Seen continuous posts on yes/no for either VP or Axial, I simply am not experienced enough to say which is best and with this price, it's a good opportunity to try that.

Just my two cents but ive had axial universals in my wraith for a little over a year now and its gone from 12t rock racer, to brushless lowered drift buggy, back to 2.2 crawler and have some slop due to abuse but overall im happy with them for 45$

Axial unis are a great option very durable....Only real benefit I see to going to vvds is part are replaceable.

You must be talking about a asia tees brand universal....doesn't sound like axial at all....

I ordered a few things form AsiaTees like knuckles, hubs, and lockouts. The knuckles, hubs fit great, but the lockouts are a horrible fit. So much slop, the plastic kit ones fit way better. I'm still building mine, so I haven't had a chance to run the front end parts yet, but don't waste your time getting the lockouts, utter garbage.

I had the Aluminium Universals as part of a kit with lockouts, knuckles, linkage and hubs. Rest all fits and looks great. Main brands on there are TopCad, GPM-Racing and Boom-Racing what I see. Fit, Finish and packaging for a starting guy like me all look good. Will see how things hold up.

Did not try any other online shops yet. I'm in Thailand, so supplies here are very sketchy at best. AsiaTees is a good way to order fast with a wide selection though not much of the top quality stuff like you guys have in the US.

Got two sets somewhere between HKG and TH for the lower price..
