The only question that I havent seen an obvious answer to so far is; How much capability am I losing if I go the scx10 axles/1.9 route for a more scale look?

Had a go at fabbing my own links, im pretty happy with how they turned out! Steering links are all metal now, and it has removed all the slop.

Just got these, now I just have to decide if im going to cut the foams or not...

Mine are pretty soft with full foams, in fact if I let it set a hour on the tires, they get major flat spots.

My Wraith is coming along now - went for a truck body...may not look the most scale but I dig it, there is work to do on it still (lightbuckets, tinting windows)

Hitec 7950TG
All aluminum steering (will be replaced with vanquish)
RC4WD punisher shafts
Proline bumper

Once I get some wheels with the right offset it will look more scale - here it is with the stock wheels

Wow, great start! If you run the scx10 axles, it will look very scale!

I wouldn't mess with it, that thing looks sick!!!

In fact, I might have to go buy a Chevy body now.

I love the links too, they are exactly what I want. I want to build my own also, but I haven't had time to figure out what I need and order it.

I will certainly try! I used to think my stock motor/gearing was alright for what I do, until I hit this

about 10 minutes in and you could fry an egg on my motor....time for something else!
