Default Wraith rear axle

Hi guys,

I've read in fair few places that the wraith rear axle isn't centered properly and I've seen a fair few pictures where I've noticed it. I've seen it on my wraith too and it really bugs me.

Is there any quick fixes that i can do without having to buy any more after market parts?

What do you mean? The pumpkin is supposed to be offset. You can make your own links out of 8-32 all thread and revo ends. Make all 8 links for under 10 bucks

The stock upper link don't isn't centered on the axle. I am testing an adjustable upper link and servo mount. Production pieces are still a little ways out though.

Doesn't the VP truss adress this issue?

That's what I've heard.
Being from the UK, vanquish stuff has to be ordered over with a $60 shipping fee on everything so I want to make sure there Isn't a cheap quick fix.

If its not centers I think its so close only the machinist anal types will ever notice. I bet you could grab some calibers and mess around and see if its were the trouble.

This is just an assumption but the VP truss looks like a direct copy of the stock plastic truss so I bet it would also be off center the same as the plastic one

It's actually a lot more pronounced than people think. When you look at your rig you will seriously notice the difference. I don't have a picture of my rig but here is a picture courtesy of GeardHeadRC that shows the problem.

Although this image was taken from slightly to the left. It clearly shows a large off balance.

Either you have an odd length upper or you're seeing things.

id disagree. I Built my chassis to the axle center line. and even when photographing the stock wraith I never looked at a photo and went wtf that shits not centerd. and normayly I catch something in photo that my eye doesn't catch.

I could be wrong and have been proven wrong many times before. id be curious in the lgear head rc links and setup prior to taking there photo as proof. ive found just because a company makes foams wheels or parts does not make them the 100% this is how it should be. it to me seems backwards.

There's a permanent marker line in center of upper links.

I have four ar60s and all of them came with uncentered upper link mounts.

It would seem if you buy new trusses you would be okay. Since mine is dead center. I can prob get my hands on two center mount trusses for ya
