Default The tgwraith

Hi

Here is my wraith, with some modifications

I choose TSL super swamper with junfac wheels. I find them very famous on the rock and in mud, more than the ripsaw.

I change wraith shocks to g-transition 90mm in sprung position.

To move the wraith, I have a Tekin FX-r with a Novak forty five, but I'll change it to an EZrun brushless combo in 32T.
I made an ABS box to put the ESC, receiver and a 2S 5000mAh lipo battery to the wraith front

And I made a bottom to the rear, with polyester resin and cotton cloth ( it's light and very easy to install with hot glue)

I've changed hub and C-hub to aluminium and I put HR CVD. I love it

I made, with 0,5 mm steel, two hinges to open the hood and to close it, a discret clip

I have a GT3B to drive it and The pilot

And that's all
I find the wraith very efficient and I love to crawl with it
I've put some vidéos at videos section

I love the tray you've made for the back! Looks like a real nice fitting piece with more room for stuff in it!

It is clear. I didn't just bars. In addition, the mud came. It's weird that Axial nothing did

Hi

Today, I made sand plates.
I took 1.5 mm aluminium sheet wich I drilled, bended and punched to get 3D form for better grip.
This measure 250 x 50 x 5 mm

the front fixation, wich follows roof

the rear fixation

and the résult

Hi

Some news, after a long using time

First, I "plastidip" every electronic part

Now, I'll can cross rivers

Second, I change novak forty five (very used) by a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMAster expert 27T

just for the good

And, at last, I broke hexa footprint on front wheel, so I changed them( the front) by Berg aluminium wheels, get on my tracer V3.
That's fine: wheels are less width and tires get more handling

Now, I have to test

You can, here :www.rccrawler-france.com/Tgenial Store/ Réalisations sur demande

The driver is a good excuse to my drive style

I find it enough lower. After, skid touch the ground and it's a handicap when I use it to crawl on rocks.

I just need to decrease torque twist but I don't know how do it

Hi

At the last trip, I broke front bumper

So, I take my tools and build a new steel bumper with winch plate, a roll bar with lights support in a nice green, the same of wraith, and a snorkel which will be efficiently to aerate motor and protect it of the mud. Miss exhaust, but it will come
And 2 orange Leds on the top, 2 white leds in the front, with plastidip, of course

Thank you

I received my 3Racing winch and I put a homemade steel hook, because 3Racing hook is too ridiculous

I had to add a BEC, because I tried to plug it on castle BEC, which used to servo, but when I plug the winch controller on the 3rd channel, it reacts like a bind and initialize Rx, I don't know why

And now, it's an electrical hell
I have Rx, ESC, servo BEC, winch BEC, winch control plate, lights plate and 10 miles of electrical wires. I need to use scratch to keep everything under the cover

And now, I'll go to try my tgwraith, that nothing more should stop: water, mud, dust and rock climbing

Hi

I modified my wheels because I had too many offset .
So I took my old plastic wheels and I worked

First, I cut and reduce the width to 30mm as berg wheels (I like with the super swamper, it give it a good holding. )

4 of 8 screws cross the wheel to hold it.

I turned 4 delrin hubs (6mm) without hex:

And I lend it to my daughter( 10 years old).
I could call her "tank girl" because, every time, she broke parts I believed unbreakable
She broke steel link, turnigy Ti servo pinions and front axle housing

So I changed servo by a Hitec HS-8385-TS
I rebuilded link and I turn delrin "beef toobs" to replace axe housing piece:

the delrin part

The same at the other side, to be sure
They're locked by the support link screws
And the result will arrive in video

I have the same break on my front bumper. I figure it gives it more shock absorbtion!

What lower links (green) are those?

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean about the "break"

Lower links are axial 6x101mm-A30
