I tried searching with no results. Has anyone tried the blue monkey independent front and rear suspension kit for the wraith? This interests me because I drive my brushless wraith fast and I'd like it to handle better. Would the front and rear exo diffs hold up to a tekin pro4 on 3s? And would I get better higher speed handling? Thanks for any info. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Yes, yes, and yes. Unless you're just going to go really fast you need to lock the front end.. I put mine together with the front diff open and it's not good for anything but high speeds. I just used a locker from Die Laughing on here, he makes them, check vendor section. Although I am still using Stock dog bones, so I just used some O-rings to keep the dog bones held in good until I get some other shafts. Rock crawling= maybe not the best but not terrible. Hillclimbs= (on my MMP/ROC3300kv) by far the best! Unbelievable. High speeds and jumps -= once again not even close, BEST hands down The build part= FAWKIN headache. But I also know nothing bout IFS. Hope This helps |

Never mind I can tell it's the front only. Anyone try out the front and rear ifs?

Haven't tried the f/r ifs from BMRC but did have the ifs conversion kit on my wraith and a heavily built Exo Terra. All the Exo stuff was upgraded as much as possible on my Wrexo. Also on my exo. Had heavy duty gears, cvd's, all the alum Strc upgrades you can get. Alum diff cups front, center, rear. I was running a 4.5t Novak Ballistic motor. Had no issues what so ever. All the driveline was bombproof. So I would upgrade the diffs if running the Pro4 on 3s. Lots more motor then my Novak Ballistic. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions just ask. I'll try and help if I can.

It might. It might be a little top heavy using the wraith cage but it might not also. I think it would be fun to drive being high speed.

Cool. Do a build thread and I'll follow along. Would like to see one done up.

After having a BM IFS kit in my wraith, only thing I'd recommend for handling the power, is a Dlux bearing mod housing. The pinion bearings in the diffs won't like the power if you lock the differential so the load going through that pinion shaft will be very high. I blew one up in an Aluminum housing. Luckily I didn't strip the gears. Doesn't look like they are instock on Dlux website but keep looking or contact him through PM. Dna |

Frdtrkguy, I just rear through your whole build thread and you said you wanted to put a solid rear axle in it. Did you ever do that? Is it better than f/r ifs?

The rig is getting a complete redesign this year with a new chassis and tube frame but I'm keeping the IFS/IRS as it is. IFS/IRS will never out perform a tuned solid axle rig in the rocks but with a slightly different driving style it does decent enough for me. | |

| Re: Ifrs wraith No its more like careful tire placement to avoid getting hung up due to the lower belly height and use of the horsepower to get up ledges that I cant crawl.

Wouldn't the front diff need to be locked? I know nothing about a IFS wraith, although I do know that if the front diff is unlocked then it would struggle up rocks and stuff unless you have a really heavy diff fluid in there (500,000 weight) to make it seemed locked....
