Default Rock Day

No wife, no kids yesterday morning. Ran up to check our newest local grounds. What a great place. So many nooks and crannys.
First time out with the cut Ripsaws. Hooked really good.

Jeez! That second pics looks like a wide angle lens. That's just the roll of the hill though.

2nd to last pic: that old sweater thing is leftover from illegal aliens. The area is a big corridor for illegals to run through. They leave a lot of stuff like that behind.

I ended up cutting the larger middle lugs.

I ground down the sidewalls last night. Very soft tires now. Put a hole in one of the tires. Patched it with liquid electrical tape.
Testing them out today.

ohhh yeah. there crazy soft with shaved sidewalls. id like to try some shaved sidewall without cutting the tread or maybe less drastic cutting. but man my shaved and cut tires realy do go atleast better 50% then stock.

looking forward to your shaved tires.

is that bad im thinking how most things are better shaved ;)

I figure I'll just make this my crawling thread for pics. He's one from yesterday. Yes, I crawled up that. I promise to never post a pic of a "placed" car! My Wraith is really killer now (though, I have little to compare to). It gives the XR a run for it's money in the vertical climb category. Ridgescrest, WAY behind in capability

Went to an area just up from this^^

A trail called Bronco Peak. Triple Dlack Diamond for real crawlers.

Man, the power of upgrades!!! I hit this hill when I first got my Wraith. Couldn't make it more than 12". Gave it a try the other day, no problem!

Conquered this little challenge too.

Finally decided to make a crawl run at our new place. Brought a truckload home the other day. Off to a good start. I got lots of stuff to grab from my work

Sidewall test:

Adjustable vertical climb!
