Different tires front and rear? Hi Folks. I checked the picture thread and came a across one rig and it got me thinking. Is there a benefit to running different tires front and rear as opposed to the same on all four corners? When I think about it i imagine TSL Super Swampers would give good bite up front and then maybe Mud slingers would give good directional shunt from the rear? Do 1:1 comp rigs tend to run the same on all corners? (If a Mod could move this to the Wraith Forum where i thought I was posting! Opinion still welcome though) :) |
Re: Different tires front and rear? I could never stand the look of different tires on the front and rear unless I was running a sand car or something. You may see people cut or groove their front and rear tires differently though. Is there a possible benefit, maybe in certain situations. However, it's not a typical practice and I don't think you'll see that trend catch on all that much. |
Re: Different tires front and rear? Thanks for the reply. I like the sound of cutting and grooving better. As you say the uniform tire look is better. |
