So this past weekend I installed some ci foams and integy aluminum beadlocks on the gf's wraith and when putting them on I noticed that with the new vp tie rod and drag link the bolt for them on the knuckle scrapes the inner side of the new wheels. Would a slightly thicker hex be ok and work in this situation?

Ha! I'm in the exact same situation at the same time. . Just mounted HB Rovers with Crawler Innovations foams on Integy beadlocks. Rears fit on the truck fine, but fronts need more clearance. I just got some integy extended hubs in the mail....but they're too wide and there's not enough axle thread to get the wheel nut back on. ....so which hex will work to provide clearance and still allow wheels to be bolted on? |

These are the hubs I got. They do not work on the Wraith even though there labeled as being made specifically for the Wraith. There's simply just not enough thread left on the axle to get the wheel nut back on. TowerHobbies.com | Integy Hex Wheel Hub Set +3 Offset Gunmetal Wraith (2) |

A set of Stampede/Rustler front hexes would most likely give the clearance you need.
