Default Wraith Spawn Hot Racing diff lockers

Have any of you had experience with the Hot racing diff lockers?

I'm trying to decide whether to go for the steel or alloy ones in my new Wraith Spawn kit. I haven't got the kit yet but I am building up a selection of parts to fit at the initial build.

As part of the initial build, I'd like to fit beef tubes, upgraded diff lockers. and possibly CI Double Deuce inserts. Apart from that, I'll be running it stock and will simply upgrade as/when I break parts.

I'll be using my rig for trailing & crawling only. I'll be running a brushed setup, most likely the Tekin FXR with 30t Pro or 35t HD motor on 2S lipo only. I'd like to keep the rig as light as I can but I understand weight down low can beneficial.

So, what are peoples thoughts? Steel or alloy?

I don't care for the set screw lockers and I would buy steel over the aluminum for this application.

I've had them in my wraith for the last year and they have given me no problems. I run a roc412 3100 on 3s and beat up on my rig pretty hard. I'd buy them again.

Here are the lockers that I have used and had good results with:
GripFab Arb, FI spools from Locked up RC and Holmes TorqueMaster Spool.
