Default Hot Racing Light Weight Trans Gears

How are the HR light weight transmission gears holding up?

I have a Wraith Spawn kit running 3s with a Roc 412 and MMP. My stock plastic gears are on borrowed time. I know the Robinson Racing gears are holding up great in my SCX10 but, I am thinking about trying the light weight gears to reduce a little rotating mass in my Wraith.

Can't say for sure as I don't have a set. But they should hold up just as good as any of the steel gear sets.
Unless you are talking about the Alum gear set. Even then Alum is better than the plastic gears.
I say get them and dont worry.

They are steel. I'm sure just about anything would be better than stock. I tore those up on my SCX-10 pretty fast. I don't have much run time on the Spawn yet though.

They are a very nice upgrade. Even the aluminum ones hold up quite well. 3100kv roc412 puts them through the ringer and never had a problem.
