i'm loving all the build threads already posted. i've been considering getting one (i'm pretty new to rock crawler) but would like to see some input on the performance from those of you just getting one.

I drove mine for a couple of hours yesterday.

It handled great, and is by far the most capable crawler I have driven out of the box. A little tuning here and there to get it dialed to my driving style and I have no doubt it'll be as capable as the berg I have had for a few years.

One thing I did notice that I will be changing out right away is the upper links, I just don't feel the plastic is rigid enough.

I am going to try to get some video edited today.

They are amazing, plain and simple. You can read about their performance in the big XR10 thread, but they are as capable as ANY 2.2 truck out there, and all that out of the box. (tuned to your driving style)
