| W-designs XR10/Mayhem build.......
Here are the particulars: Mayhem Engineering ME-4 (adjustable beadlocks) White dot Rovers Hitec 7950 Fxr Punk Dig 3s 1500mah batts DX3e Castle BEC Well I got mine a couple weeks back and have taken my time in building it. Unlike everyone else I like to start at the back of the book and actually paint the body FIRST Not much in the way of build pics....they all look the same on the inside. I did have to remove the case from my receiver to fit it in the radio box with the BEC. I bought some of the Axial bent links as well as an ORANGE Color pack to change up the upper and lower links. Got everything mounted up and ready for some practice..... Last edited by -w-designs; 09-24-2010 at 09:47 PM. |

Sorry Travis.....I should have seen where you were this weekend.... Just giving you a hard time Andy, although, that is probably my favorite crawl spot. I might have to go there after the comp on the 2nd. |

The whole thing makes me salivate. My wife is angry that i get this excited about a truck. But man, the paint is just friggin awesome. The rest of the build is great too. These are not the stock shocks right? These are the upgraded aluminum ones? And the wheels are really my favorite part...are these available? Oops...sorry guys... I re the beginning of the post. I see they are mayhems Thanks Paul Last edited by avoidsthelight; 09-26-2010 at 01:33 PM. |

Those are the stock shocks. A huge upgrade over the stock AX 10 shocks.

Yeah I'm really loving my ME-4 wheels you can find more info on them here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245983 The inner and outer rings have been polished to get them looking Bling currently running the small offset hubs in the front and my width out to out of tread on the Rovers is 10.5" I have the medium offset hubs in the rear making it 10.25" out to out. I am currently running the front wheels with 7.9 oz of lead in them making the final weight with Rovers, Proline memory, and ME-4 14.9oz ea The rear wheels I'm running Rovers, Sedona foam, and ME-4 at 7.0oz ea This set-up has been working well in practice the overall weight of my XR10 is 6.0lbs. I might try running less weight in the front wheels to see how it works. Last edited by -w-designs; 09-27-2010 at 01:40 PM. | |
