Default rear slop

I'm sure most of you have noticed the side to side slop in the rear axles.

I'm looking for tips on removing it.

Clean fix...They designed them so the slop is removed from the rear axle.

I just used 5x8mm teflon washers from traxxas to get rig of the slop, you get 20 for $2.00 (TRA1985) and I used 4 on each side.

It looks like he shimmed the axle further into the locker and had to shave it down a bit for fitment.

Just put shims on the end of the axle on the side of the locker... I used 3 axial shims on each side that came with the ax10 strait axle...

I didn't do anything. This thing would still kick a$$ even if it had slop in every single screw.

Seriously though I used some Kyosho shims (no idea which) on each side.

I used a 0.5mm shim between the bearing and the axle on each side.

I shimed the rear with Axial shims from the AX10 straight axle kit. A total of .7mm on each side.

a shim is just a thin washer. most likely the washer will be to thick.
