Default VP Weights

Are you guys that are running these, are you using them with or without the stock XR10 weights that go inside your XR10. Why or why not? Thanks!

You only use weights to add weight if you feel its to light, and to change your weight distribution.

The weights on the inside are nice because you can leave them in there, they also provide for a stiffer section in the middle of your front tires which helps on ledges and such. The VP weights will make it easier to tune your weight to where it needs to be in addition to the weights inside. Generally a good place to start is around 4oz ADDED per front wheel, tire, and foam combo. I think that makes sense but another way to say it is if you leave the weight inside the wheel you'll have more tuning options by using the VP weights along with the weight inside the wheel.

I never ran the internal weights on my stock wheels because I had the brass slugs and since they are an ounce each I knew I wasn't going to need that much weight up front and chose to leave them out.

With my current setup being around 5.65lbs I am running 3 oz in each front wheel...just FYI
