| Axial Axle Case
Uh...are the front and rear Axial Axle Cases the only things we need from Axial? It's becoming apparent from reading all these threads that these are the only original parts people are retaining in their builds.

you only need the axial lower cases from what i see in the vanquish homepage photo! ive been running mine stock for 5 months now (except for the straight steering rod and the 9mm avid flanged bearings and protek metal shielded 8mm bearings) if i break something then i go the vanquish route .... probably just in time when RC4WD will release their hardened gears for the xr-10 as well .... | |

Well...I am still using the Axial chassis. Can't decide whether to go with CF chassis, BJV4, or Viper. If I were to do it again, I'd buy the front and rear axle housing and build from there. That's what the Berg guys are doing right? Come to think of it, I can almost build a spare stock XR10 from all the parts I replaced. LOL |

I don't have much run time on mine yet, darn snow but I bought used stock axles only. It took me a while to find the axles at the right price. If you are planning on chancing everything out anyway just get the lowers. I run a mix of stock and hopped up parts. If something breaks, I buy better. The only thing I swapped right away was the trans case. VP flange and case was my choice. It is a perfect fit and has much better bearings. The rest was pulled over from my AX10 or made from scratch.
