It looks like a good start, but please, for your own good, ditch those upper links for some aluminum, delrin or ti. It looks like a great list of parts, its time to install em and get it running. Like the ammo can too."thumbsup" |
Yeah I was planing on getting some aluminum links that matched the orange theme"thumbsup" Hopefully I will get all the soldering done today and then it will be ready to go once I get the battery mount in. Hows the best way to mount the esc's in the chassis, back to back or one on each side of the frame? |
Well, I finaly got everything soldered up and put together. The only thing I am waiting for is my Rowdy racing battery mount and some Vp gear."thumbsup" I cant wait!! I drove it around the house some and it is amazing. Sorry for the somewhat blurry pictures. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1302046548 http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1302046548 http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1302046548 |
Heck Yeah Chess. Your build is looking awesome. I love love the way that Viper chassis looks. What is the C rating of the battery you are using? I need to gat a battery that weighs less and your looks about the right size. Thanks for your reply and again your build looks great. James T. |
Good looking truck you got!!! I like the chassis and the way it looks as well."thumbsup" |

Are you gonna cut windows?...looks like B.A. Baracus built that thing! |
Haha. No I kinda like it with no windows. It makes it differant then everyone elses viper"thumbsup" Well I got a set of dhII's order with the hubs and rings. Then a trans case for the front and back. I wish I had more money to buy stuff but Im running low:shock: |
But your driver won't be able to look out the side windows......?? |
Haha. I have never seen people care so much about windows:flipoff:, but fine I will cut windows out. I guess Im a push over. The waiting game is going to kill me:cry:. |
Carbon Extreme! Actually, I'm with you...I kind of like the no windows look "thumbsup" I need to pull the trigger on one of these 4PL's soon. |
If you like it like that, leave it be, I was just cracking a joke. It kind of has that Killer Alien Drone look to it w/o any side windows. The truck looks really good. |
I like the side panels, it is a different spin on things, nice work! now get it finished and some rock rash on it "thumbsup" |
