Default 4ruggy's Chaotic crawler Bodiless XR

So my story is i switched to an XR from a berg thinking i would be lighter. Of course after i added all the upgrades that proved different. But i do enjoy the axle clearance. I had a great cdw berg before and now i am learning all over.
So i have been driving my XR with the stock chassis since i built it last year. Of course everyone locally has upgraded chassis and it is hard to compete with a fat bottom girl. So i decided to follow suit and go Bodiless!

I wanted something different from all the BJ4 everyone around me has and i also was looking for a different look. So i went with the Chaotic crawler bodiless chassis with titanium links. I love the look and the difference of being bodiless vs the body. I know that these upgrades are going to help lots. I am still going to experiment with shock set ups but this is what i have for now.

I am running:
Chaotic Cralwers Bodiless standard chassis
Chaotic Cralwers Titanium Links Front and rear
HH 35t pro team 540 motors
Hi-tech 7950th
4pks
Vanquish Wheels and axle upgrades
duel fxr's

id get the gc down to around 3 in the front an 3 1/4 in the rear. i have found with mine that it really like a 3 1/2 shock in the front an a 4 in the rear. so i just put in some tubing in my front losi shock an rock it . works really well for me

Very nice buddy. You wont be bummed you got the C.C. setup. She does work!!!

Keep us posted on how you do against the BJ's. The Y-Town chassis is a popular choice for a reason. I've built & run em both & I think that the C.C. Special is right up there at the top of the rock pile.

Got my panels painted and mounted. Went with black with some blue designs i cut out. I also changed the springs up on it using stock springs in the rear and softer white one in the front. I found it to be to stiff and it also helped with the GC to lower it a bit.
