| High torque steering arm.
I just received a longer high torque steering arm and figured as much, there's not enough adjustment in the turnbuckle to get the steering straight. Just wondering if you cut the stock turnbuckle to size, or is there another size that works with the longer arm??? Also, in the near future I'll be upgrading to VP wheels, chubs and knucks...Just wondering the difference between the bent and straight tie rods? Thanks. Jay. |

Got some Jato and Revo rod ends and I'm not quite sure how they will help me here...For starters, the drag link is 3mm and the rod ends are 4mm, also I don't see how they will shorten the drag link, which is the result I'm after. I was wondering if there's enough adjustability in all 3 stock turnbuckles to accommodate the longer steering arm?

You need a small 4mm stud or 8/32" to connect the jato and revo together is perfect length. Everyone uses this because the 3 mm stuff wont hold up. And the tie rod gets replaced with a single rod to get rid of the 3 piece 3 mm stuff.

If you put to short ends together you can flip your servo around and get the horn in closer to the wheel.

Sweet! What's the advantages of having the horn closer to the wheel?

Just more clearence , me personally and one of very few run it farther away , i feel the geometry is better but that just me. Everyone i know runs a revo to a jato using the servo horn close to the tire , but thats witb vp knucks so your may be different like addicted !!

Yes, the horn is more likely to hit something, but I can deal with that. It actually helps at times to wiggle the front axle up over stuff. | |
