Re: Snapon Boy's XR10 hahaha. glad we all could come together on a build. nerby had said you wanted to build an xr and never really got around to it. so I sent him axles, motors, motor covers, the rowdy batt tray. and other odds and ends. im sure you have seen my two prototype chassis in the xr10 section. im just literally never gonna get around to building one or driving one for that matter. so I put those axles to use in your hands. im looking forward to donate another driveline setup to someone who could use it. just gotta find the right person. next year I should be able to make it to OK. hopefully. I got a few rigs I need to build this winter. "thumbsup" |
Re: Snapon Boy's XR10 Look forward to meeting you 149 r/c worx team driver |
Re: Snapon Boy's XR10 This was a great build to do and could not have gone to a more deserving person, hope you enjoy the truck and now your gonna have to travel to the big comps to run it. Cm9000 had messaged me wanting to pay it forward with a set of axles and motors and I told him I already had 2 pro trucks so really didn't need them and i couldn't take them and sell them so I asked if he was ok with me building a truck and giving it to you, so I reached out to Barry and he gave me a chassis, I got all the electronic's, made the links and added brass inserts and did all necessary mods to keep it strong and my 8 year old son gave you the wheels and tires off his pro truck, Dna4engr made the skinz for the truck, which really set it off, this has been a 2 and a half month build all waiting for Crawlapalooza to give it to you, which I owe a big thanks to Dana and Derrick for taking the time to present it to you. |
Re: Snapon Boy's XR10 I'm very grateful for all who took part in this. That was huge of all of you and even your son! 149 r/c worx team driver |

Re: Snapon Boy's XR10 Well the truck hasn't been sitting still much and even made it to a comp with it last Saturday. We ran sportsmen and I got 2 but had to leave before moa class ran but I did run it threw several of the courses it's a amazing thing to drive. Makes sportsmen frustrating.
