Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Hard or soft BFG's come on this? |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Agreed, but if the knuckles are the same as the Exo, people won't be able to run a lot of the aftermarket wheels without wide hubs... and then the bitching will begin. |

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Doesn't look like it will be too easy to add a solid front axle. |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Is the brushless system censored? Looks like it in the pictures |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 no, it's uncensored or maybe unsensored, excuse my french, lol |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 everyone wondering what wheels may work !! looks like the hub carriers are the size same as the stock EXO I've been running both on my IFS (EXO front end) with Vp 2.2 OMF & Method wheels - with on problems, these wheels have no inner bead lock ring have 350 hubs on it now & it looks like you could even use 250 hubs if need be. "thumbsup" with no clearance problems !! http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps0bdace6f.jpg so is everyone ready for a YETI - T shirt ?? |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 They keep saying 4 pole BL right? It's probably the WP Sidewinder with the 4 pole 3300kv combo. And thank gotd it takes a honking 5000mah 3s |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Every one needs a shirt |

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 The new wheels on the Yeti look like they have plenty of clearance on the backside like a VP OMF wheel. http://www.redrc.net/wp-content/uplo...nsIFDWheel.jpg |

Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Same here, Im sold, going to pre-order! Looks like a nice bell crank setup for the steering, I have a spare set of Kyosho RT-5 shocks that hopefully will fit this beauty! :) Great job Axial! |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 Nice pics Badger. Hey look, a new steering knuckle for 2.2's, also looks like a larger bearing in there? |
Re: Exclusive review of the Axial YETI AX90026 I sort of feel I can see some weakness allready. Look at the way the front A-arms is hinged to the sub frame. One major hit in front the front wheel and the hinge bolt will break the mount right off. They should have solved this with solid tie bars from side to side as most others. One other thing is the plastic links. Why on earth didn't they use steel turnbuckles? This looks cheap, and I'll bet there will be an upgrade kit they want us to buy. Looks like they've also stuck with the sloppy plastic ball ends. They just plain SUCK even for slow scalers, imagine how great they will be on a much faster car... For you haters, look at how Traxxas has done this on their cars. At least it _looks_ far superior compared to this, and I do know the Slash takes some major impacts without problems. I'm not too impressed really, but we'll see when you guys start beating on them.. :-) |
