Yeti kit trip to europe.... very slow boat?

Been calling local Axial dealer shops and online retailers in Holland and Germany.
most heared answer: "yes, we will get it. No, I don't know when. No, I don't know the price." Optional answer: "you may preorder."

One bold online store deared answering "mid februari." and "around 350euro."

that's the equivelent of 430 usd! for a kit. Then you have to add 170 euro (200usd) to get it running (turnigy style).

being very nice to the misses ie required...

If I think of the itch I have now, I wonder what it'll be like in februari.
just had to spill the frustration. sorry.

edit: ordering in the US and get it shipped? 330usd +70usd (postage) Add VAT, customs and such and you'll end up paying 420euro (520usd) Being nice to the lady doesn't cover that...

I feel your pain, I am also in Europe, subject to european prices, vat and import taxes and delayed launches

Modelsport estimates 14 february and a price of 269 british pounds (around 340 euros) for the kit

I think the Exo kit had a similar high price tag, got affordable only a year ago when it was discontinued and price dropped significantly (me happy, snatched one of the last ones)

I would very much like the Yeti as a complement to the Exo for rougher terrain, but I might just have to wait until price will go down or sell a number of cars

Pretty much any hobby carries hefty price tags, because of the low sales volume and hobbyists willing to pay the price (that is, until the better half finds out and sleeping on the couch may get real)
