Default Trying out parts from the RR10

When I saw the parts tree for the RR10 (AX31317) had a redesigned axle linkage mount I thought I would try it. I had been somewhat annoyed with the angle of the sway bar on the Yeti, this solved my OCD. I used parts off the Yeti sway bar tree and a m3 bolt with the head cut off.

Looks good, are they the same plastic as the original mounts?

Nice, you could even use turnbuckles if you wanted and you still retain the stock limiter.

The plastic did seem to be stiffer/stronger. One note, the new linkage mount does not use the nuts like the original. In places where the original used nuts, the RR10 has thicker plastic.

That parts tree also has a diff cover. We compared the new diff cover to an original one, the new one is thicker at the mounting surface, yet a lower profile.

thanks for the tip on that Chiphead. The way I have my rear end setup, the rear trailing arms are level at right height and the swaybar bottoms out before the shocks do. Looks like this will fix it

Off to the lhs this weekend

How does your sway bar bottom out?

The larger Revo ends would hit the inside of the captured area on the sway bar arm on large impacts.

Problem is remedied now. No more goofy angle on the sway bar links.

Oh that makes a lot more sense. I was imagining the stock sway bar and just couldn't think of a way that it could bottom out.
