Default How to keep internal clean

Are there any mud covers for the
Internals like I seen for traxaas. Seems as if everything is going to end up in the internals. Tia

I made a shield from lexan and screwed it to the chassis as a wall that doesn't allow mud or debris to get into the inside. there's a guide on here somewhere with a template. search for mud guard or dust shield here in the yeti forum.

Yup the electronics sure do get a ton of debris (mud/snow/leaves) in and around them. Every search I've done to find something it seems there isn't anything yeti specific yet, but there are a few options that will work with a bit of tweaking. Haven't done any myself yet but will be for sure.

I've been looking at all the pictures members are posting of their yetis in the snow and they all say they had a grand ol time for a good lengthy run. I'm curious how they managed to do it as I've been finding that after 10ish minutes I've got so much snow packed in around the steering arms that I completely lose one direction or the other, and they are taking it thru deeper snow than I have yet. Is there a mod I can do that doesn't restrict the steering arms while also keeping the snow and debris out? Or will I have to just keep blowing out the snow as I go? Maybe keep a can of air on me.

As far as "Yeti specific", there is a post on here with a template and full instructions. It fits the Yeti only and is very effective at keeping out mud snow and rocks. The fit is perfect! Just look for "My Yeti dust shield".
