New Axial retro trophy truck body

OK has anyone else seen the new axial "RETRO" yeti trophy truck bodies ads on the different dealer sites ? Any ideas what the retro will look like ? Any guesses ?

Just went back and looked and am wondering if its just the same body as the yeti Score trophy truck ? Why is it retro ?

Check their Facebook page. Look through the photo stream for the pics when they were at Baja. There are several pics with the retro body in it. It's the Red, White and Blue one. There is one decent one of it with a girl in the BFG booth.
It's similar. Different grill, lights and the hood detail looks a little different.
I personally like it better than the stock version. Hopefully Pro-Line comes out with some for it

The Tower Hobby site refers this body as clear so I guess that slight difference makes it retro. Amazing they are now selling the front grills separately making these new bodies rather expensive. I was hoping for an old retro look like an old baja truck truck dug out of an old sand dune.

In that picture from the booth it looks like the cabin is slightly taller/straight up and besides the grille it seems like the hood scoop runs all the way to the front. I want that retro body too! Don't know how many notifications I placed on the tower website - lol. And yes, with the seperate grills it does get expensive ...

Hah....just announced by Axial about 2 days ago.........but was on the Tower website back when I started this thread . Body can be cut to be used with the partial cage or as a solid body. The trim pieces and the body without the partial cage are msrp'd at almost $100. Hopefully that will come down quickly once its available. Adding the partial cage will make the body way overpticed ! Too bad they wouldn't put the full body together in a kit and put a better price on it.
