Default Servo flex

Hey guys, has anyone experienced any flexing of the servo mounts?. I'm running a savox 2270 set at 7.4 volts and it ran great for a long time but now instead of turning the tyres on grippy surfaces it tends to just want to flex the plastic servo mounts, but only in one direction, only when the servo is throwing forwards (so turning right) does anyone know of a solution or has anyone else experienced this?

did u check if maybe a srew is getting loose. or maybe the thread in the servo post is stripped. just a guess.
there are replacements for the servo mounts in alu on the market. i'm using a savöx 1210sg no issue at the moment on mine.

Same problem here check the end point for the servo!

Yeah it's definitely not the end point because when you pick it up off the ground it will turn a little more, and the screws tight and hasn't stripped, maybe alloy mounts are on the cards.

With the servo arm disconnected, does the steering move (using the servo link) freely with the wheels off the ground?

I have seen this happen when the screws on the steering rack were done up too tight.

Yup my rear mount is cracked. Servo was wiggling around causing some really lazy wonky steering. Loosened the screw, popped it back in place and got the screw to bite down where its not cracked.

I swear in 3 momths i will have a 4wd rc pile of duct tape and bubblegum hahaha

Yeah with everything disconnected it still has full throw and with it connected with wheels in the air it still has full throw. Seems alloy mounts will be the best route to take

I'm running a large Hitech and it was moving everything but the front wheels, so the servo moving was just one of many alloy steering upgrades
