| Is there any noticeable difference in non-dig turning radius between the zero ackerman and correct ackerman set up? |

Just curious as to why you would want such a complicated setup when you can get correct ackerman with a standard linkage setup? Want to be the first with both standard and bta steering?

mostly cuz 1, tight space w/ links, shocks and such behind the axle for both the drag link, tie rod, servo arm and such. and 2, i ran my last 1:1 that way and thought it was really neat looking and helped things fit better. 3, iv had problems w/ "stacked" link mounting points breaking or being pron to coming loose and such. i now these are not plastic so that isnt such a issue but hay,... why not. kind of a odd photo but if u look long and hard ull see what im getting at. well maybe. ![]() different kit i think but same concept, this shows the arms off the truck. ![]() this way, i can run my servo facing forward as i have it now, but move the tie rod to the back side getting things up and out of the way enough to make a difference. id hope the drag link would be up enough to not hit anything as its above center on the axle so if anything were going to run into it, it would surely hit the axle any how so no getting around that. in less there is some kind of a cool behind the axle mounting kit for the axle housing ahah...... | Well looking at Egressor's knuckles, the drag link and servo link are gonna be up high on the knuckle being that the knuckle arm is bolted to the top portion of the knuckle. I would figure you would already have a bit more clearance and approach angle. Looks like the drag link would be about the same height as the servo link on a standard knuckle, and the servo link a bit higher than that. |

true, but id rather not run my drag link and tie rod mounted to the same point if i could help it. and hell, why not do something different. any hoot, if its a big deal i wont worry about it. just a goofy detail kind of thing i would like. not quiet building a "scale" rig but..... an idea i got form my 1:1 rigs. thanks
