Got my set yesterday
Very nice looking
I went to install them and I can,t get the c-hub to slide all the way on
It slide till it runs out of splines inside the c-hub which leave about a 1/8th of beef tube spline showing between the caller and c-hub.

I will take a picture to post when I get home

LMK what brand Chub you are using please. I'll do what I can to help. I just spot checked a few more with no bad results. We will see what we can do to get you fixed up.

Any chance you'll make some for Wraith axles?

Pretty please? ;-)

The fitment on his ended up being very tight, he was able to get them on and off, but it wasn't without using some force. I'm not sure why to be honest, but after a few on and offs they should fit tight but be able to come off by hand.

So is it confirmed that for the rear you can run wraith lock outs and long side wraith shafts so track width is same as the front with the xr steering?

The problem with this is the axle shafts. If you use Wraith Lockouts which shafts do you pair with them to get the correct length? Not the XR shafts. The wheely king shafts are one but I'm not sure which lockouts they work with. This is similar to my question in the previous posts. I'm curious to see how this shakes out. A clean and simply XR width conversion would be nice to have. "thumbsup"

The lightest option is to leave the rear axle stock and run flipped wheels in the back.

For you sporty guys, this is the go to ticket.

For the scalers and those who dont like this option, I'm sorry this is taking so long.

I'm pretty sure the Wraith rear locker and XR10 long rear shaft is the ticket. However, I cannot confirm till I get some rear lockouts in hand.

I just installed the XR10 rear lockout on our Burly tubes out back with XR10 rear short shafts. This combo bolts together, however is still not equal track width.

Is it close to the same & how much wider than the stock SCX width??

Thanks for your insight.

Can you make some that do not have the extra collar area so the splines end at the shock mount? I want the advantage of the steering without the width;-)

I put together the rear lastnight and to make the width you need burley tubes and wraith lockouts.

And what shafts?

Hey Guys, If your wanting equal track width, a set of burly tubes in back is required along with wraith lockouts and XR10 rear long shafts, there are several vendors who can cut you 2 long XR10 Shafts. If you are using these for a sporty with a flat faced wheel, you can easily flip the wheel for equal track width.

I am working on an option for you stock width guys, and hope to have a how-to up by the end of the week.

RcBro 12-16-2013 09:49 PM

Alright, for those guys wanting a 7075 burly tube but want to retain your stock width, here's what you need to do.

First cut 12mm off your burly tube.

Then cut your axle halves flush with the link mounts. At this point your burly tube fits right in.

You will still need to drill and tap the burly tube, but now you have a killer burly tube upgrade.

So for myself to run wraith lockouts, I just need one more set (follow directions), and it will all work?
