Noon sounds good. Anyone have tennis balls? I'll try to remember to cut some up just in case. Been too busy to get any of the crawlers done. Need to get on that. |

Looks like you guys had a good time.....seems that everytime you have a get together planned recently, I've got something going on- it was the wife's 20 year HS reunion this time! Yeah...were old! Hopefully I can hook up with you guys at Mt. Wilson at the next one? Hitting the Hammers on Oct. 15&16 in the 4Runner, my buddy Jon from All-Pro Off Road and I are going to lead some naive Tacoma owners into Sledgehammer or whatever they feel they can get stuck or break on...uh I mean go on. I'm bringin' the TXT, so if anyone's interested? I'll have the Black Ford Super Duty Crew Cab Short Bed on 37" Cepeks and the Ultra Flat Black '85 4Runner with Tube Doors and a Tan Can-Back also on 37" MTR's on Means Dry lake bed in Johnson Valley- going in Friday night.

Yes we had a great time yesterday. Hopefully I can get some video up soon. Man that place is STEEP in places. There were several 30-40 rolls down the hill. And one 50 ft jump. Unfortunatly that one didn't make the tape. Damn kids. Tell Bundrant Brian Jones said Hello. |

So, I'm guessing my stock TXT plastic steering knuckles are going to be laying all over the courses with roll overs like that! Have a few spares and have been avoiding the RC4WD aluminum ones.....got a plastic stock pile after breaking my first one....make sure you let me know when you guys are going again..please. I'll tell Jon hello...still not sure if he's taking Truggy or his Tacoma to make them feel better about heading into the trails? |

we did have a blast at mt. wilson. it will take a toll on your rig! i think the carnage count was 2 broken clod wheels, a broken 1/8th scale servo saver, tires ripped from their beads, and a ESC knocked loose from a 50 foot cliff jump! we'll let you know the next time we get together. myabe mt. baldy next time? that's a rad spot! |
