Hahaha. Yea, I'm in my Datsun 510. Why? Sorry. My inner car guy jumped out of my head when I saw "510".

So are there any spots out here? We found a couple but they are a little sketchy. Most of the property out here is no trespassing. | |

Check out my RTLC thread. All local guys that meet all over the bay area. There's at least a few guys that get together at least once a weekend depending on weather. Dropped from XparentLiquidNexus via TapaTalk |

The local spots I usually go to are, coyote hills, the creek at lake elizabeth, a few spots in Niles canyon, 1 spot in palomores canyon and theres a few places off andrade rd on the grade towards sunol and sunol regional park. @ coyote hills you have to put your stuff in a back pack and be incognito until you reach the top of the hill. We usually stay on the backside so park employees cant see us. EBRP has a no RC policy. But they do have a glider section at coyote. @ the lake, the creek isnt too big but enough to take the kids too and let them drive around. Nikes, parking is a bitch we usually just get dropped off with the bare necessities. Same with palomores, enough for 5 cars Andrade plenty of parking Sunol is pretty nice, more of a trail run spot then anything. Has the creek and plenty of other spots, same as coyote, gotta be incognito... |

I drove up palomares yesterday after work. Amazing forestry but agreed not much parking anywhere. Which spot exactly? I stopped a couple times at turnouts but didn't find much worth crawling. Turned around after the canyon opened up and houses started popping up.

Yeah its def a fun road, favorite when I had the supermoto. When you make the L onto Palomores from Niles you go in about a half mile or so. I haven't been up there in a while, was the stop sign still there where it turns into 1 lane right after the hard right turn. You want to park on the R side right after the hard right turn. walk down into the creek and you can crawl all over the place there.... Wow '06... No stop sign and its all 2 lane, although its actually 1.5 in some places. That turnout is on the right side right after the hard right. I stopped and looked around. Lots of garbage and tagging not visible from the road, looks cool but there's a lot of water still. I'd go back when its drier.

So I went back out to the park on calaveras this last weekend. we found a spot that was ridiculous! I will post up some pictures a little bit later. The thing about this spot is I could see it being flooded easily (especially with the rain we have had this week) but, and that's a big but, with whole "trail ride" out to is was amazing. Small waterfall trails, huge rock beds, lots of good stuff out there.
